Here is a nice tool for mobile web authors. It combines the best of WordPress with best of Blackberry. Just as one trivial example, this article was found, edited, illustrated and posted from my BlackBerry, with a few clicks in a few minutes.
We have been waitng for an official WordPress for BlackBerry application for what seems like an eternity, however, not too long after Automattic, the company behind WordPress, announced that there would be a WordPress for BlackBerry application, we have a beta that is publicly available for download. I’ve just installed WordPress for BlackBerry on my Storm and, although I haven’t had the chances to completely put it through the paces, I’ve got to admit that it is pretty good for beta. I was able add a blog and create a new post with a picture pretty easily. The app is still a little rough around the edges, but, you can definitely see the potential and I can’t wait until the production release comes out. If you own a BlackBerry and run a WordPress Blog, WordPress for BlackBerry is definitely one app you will want to keep an eye on. Hi Randy. Have you tried to use Wordress support facilities?
What kind of BlackBerry are you installing upon?
Are you installing OTA or from desktop?
Is the error during installation, or when you try to run it?
Do you have enough available memory on your device?
Are you an authorized author on the weblog you are trying to access?
My experience was a smooth OTA download install, configuration and then operation. I post regularly to three different weblogs, all three of which are working perfectly using this program from my BlackBerry Storm.
Good luck with your troubleshooting efforts.
Mike
P.S. I have a theory no one has ever been able to deny or refute.
